Blackpool-based BFW Management Ltd (Atlas) are on the lookout for their 2019 Staff Stars.
The ‘Staff Stars’ celebrate the contributions Atlas’ staff make to the organisation, its clients and each other.
This year’s awards boast six categories, aimed to showcase the various achievements undertaken by our staff – from: cultural innovations; financial savings; process improvements; development; to health and safety initiatives.
Entries will be judged by a panel which includes Atlas’ new Chairman, Keith Case and Business Support Lead, Patrick McChrystal.
Atlas’ Chairman, Keith Case, said: “Our business is only as good as our people, so it’s really important that we celebrate their excellent performance. Whether that be from client feedback, an innovative project, or peer to peer admiration.
Its particularly great that three of the six categories in this year’s ‘Staff Stars’ are open to nominations from all staff, so they can honour their colleagues and teams. I encourage all staff to grab this opportunity to recognise good work by their workmates.
I am especially excited about the ‘Client Focused’ category, which invites nominations from our clients, including Blackpool Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.”
If you know of an Atlas Star you think deserves recognition, you can download the ‘Client Focused’ entry form here and submit by 17:00 on Tuesday 26th February.
Simply complete the four short questions about the individual, team, or department – and email to Atlas’ Communications team: email@example.com
Atlas’ Business Support Lead, Patrick McChrystal, said: “As we develop and grow the business, we want to ensure we are effective in creating and sustaining a special place to work and an environment where employee engagement is nurtured
This year we have developed a new approach, one which enables all employees to have their voices heard, by actively participating in the nomination process.
The awards ceremony in April is an important part of the Atlas calendar and is an opportunity to recognise our employees significant effort and contribution across the organisation. On behalf of the judging panel, we’re looking forward to receiving the nominations and celebrating with the entire team in April.”
The 2019 categories are: Inspiring Change; Employee’s Employee; Health and Safety Leadership (all of which are open to nominations from Atlas employees); Atlas Star (nominated by the senior management team); Client Focused (nominated by Atlas clients) and Outstanding Contribution (nominated by Atlas’ Chairman from the total pool of entries).
Nominations are open from today until 17:00 on Tuesday 26th February.
The awards ceremony and celebration lunch event will take place at the Trust’s Education Centre at the Blackpool Victoria site. Transport will be arranged for teams not based at this site.
