Managing Director – Les Stove
The operational management of Atlas, and delivery of its strategic plan is delegated to our Managing Director, Les Stove, who leads and directs our Senior Leadership Team.
Les Stove has a career spanning over 30 years of NHS experience – in both Primary and Secondary Care settings.
Les’ career to date has seen him working for Acute Hospitals and Primary Care Trusts, delivering a breadth of services, ranging from IT, to Health Records, Outpatient Department (OPD), as well as Hard and Soft Facilities Management Services.
His aim is to progress what is already in place to support our major client, Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, whilst laying the foundations for our long-term business development strategy. This involves building new partnerships with key stakeholders, within our local footprint and exploring the opportunities for growth that we have at our fingertips.
Interim Director of Operations – Ellis Smith
As Operations Director, Ellis supports our Managing Director in the smooth and efficient running of the company and deputises for him when required.
Ellis joined Atlas from Mitie Technical Services, where he was primarily involved with technical projects for the Mitie portfolio of government contracts. These included but were not limited to two NHS trusts, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and the Civil Service.
Before entering the civilian building services and facilities arena, Ellis started his career in engineering within the Royal Navy as a Marine Engineer, for which he served for 14 years.
He encourages a culture of ethics, openness and transparency and always looks to operate in the company's best interests at all times; leading by example helps to ensure that staff within the company consistently behave in a manner that reinforces the priorities and values of Atlas and Blackpool Teaching Hospitals.
