Atlas announces its new Chair - Alan Stuttard.
Blackpool-based healthcare facilities management Company, Atlas BFW Management Ltd (Atlas), announces its new Chair, Alan Stuttard.
Alan takes up the position from Interim Chair, Pearse Butler, who delivered the role to support Atlas, until a new Chair was appointed.
Atlas’ Interim Chief Executive Officer, Jim Maguire, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Pearse for the support he gave Atlas during his time as Interim Chair and to welcome Alan.”
Alan Stuttard has a career spanning 40 years, mainly at Finance Director level, within public sector healthcare and NHS organisations, including across Acute Services, Ambulance Service, Department of Health and Regional Health Authority.
Prior to his retirement, he was the Finance Director and Deputy Chief Executive of the North West Ambulance Service.
Alan holds three Non-Executive Director positions at, Blackpool Operating Company Ltd (Blackpool Sandcastle Waterpark), Blackpool Waste Services Ltd (Enveco), and Bolton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – which has its own wholly owned ubsidiary Company, IFM Ltd.
Alan is also Chair of the Audit Committee at each of the organisations and has held Non-Executive roles with Health (Acute and Community Services), Primary Care, Local Government and Social Enterprise organisations. He is also a Volunteer Car Driver for the North West Ambulance Service, taking patients to and from hospital for their appointments.
In his spare time, Alan is Secretary of the Mid Lancashire Adult Football League and a referee. He enjoys keeping fit, cycling and travelling. He is married with three children and lives in Chorley.
