In the latest 'back to the floor' session, our Head of Facilities Management, Wendy Jones, swapped her dress for a tabard, and headed to our Clifton Hospital site, to work alongside our brilliant Domestic Team to experience first-hand exactly what they do, why and how.
Wendy said: "Understanding not just what we do, but how and why we do it is essential for me, so being able to spend a shift with our Domestic Team at Clifton Hospital in Lytham, was something I have been keen to do for sometime now."
Hospitals are not just created to treat illnesses and diseases, they are also to help a person recover by creating a good environment. Our domestic teams are monitored through regular auditing and have both IOSH and COSHH certifications. Their work ensures that Clifton Hospital is both safe and aseptic."
Wendy adds: "Spending time with our Domestic Team at Clifton Hospital was an fantastic experience, I got to see my teams in action, as they provided the essential service that they do, whilst being able to have open and honest conversations about their work. There some key takeaways from my experience, but one thing is for certain, I know our client is in safe hands, as our teams ensures that their facilities are safe and cleaned to the highest standards, each and every day."
