James Sharples

James has more than 32 years’ experience in the engineering and operational sector, managing large-scale sites with multiple disciplined engineers in high-speed operational environments. Starting out in engineering, he went on to manage Royal Mail’s largest UK automated processing centre before moving on to become National Engineering Manager at TNTPOST (now Whistl). He has also worked with large companies across the automation industries from NEC, SICK, Siemens and Toshiba.

James has now carved out a career as a senior facilities and estates compliance manager. He also holds the RoSPA Gold Award for exemplary health and safety practices and has been instrumental in leading company ISO certifications.
