James Birch

James joined Atlas in May 2024 as Head of Finance and is responsible for providing the Atlas team and wider stakeholders with relevant financial Information and key performance indicators to support the business ambitions and goals.

James has 17 years’ experience in Finance, and started out at a private Accountancy Practice, spending 8 years there, where his role allowed him to get a rounded introduction to Finance including VAT, Payroll, Management Accounts, Statutory Accounts and Audit.

Following this he moved to an Industry role as Financial Controller and spent 5 years there before joining Prefix Systems Group in March 2020 as Group Finance Manager.

Outside of work James enjoys watching football and walking his dog.
