Louisa Swift

As the Head of Business Management, Louisa’s primary responsibilities involve ensuring that the company meets its statutory, regulatory, governance, commercial, and contractual obligations while delivering effective, safe, and high-quality services - managing four key aspects of the organisation: Corporate Governance, Contract Management, Quality, Risk & Compliance and Business Support

Prior to joining Atlas, Louisa has over 35 years of experience in senior management roles within the healthcare sector, focusing on mental health, primary care, and community services. Her career has been marked by a collaborative approach with voluntary and private sectors, driving operational change, and improving organisational culture.

Louisa is actively involved in several professional organisations and business groups that support continuous professional development. She holds an MSc in Professional Practice (People & Leadership) from Lancaster University and is a qualified ILM Level 7 Executive Coach & Mentor.

In her spare time Louisa is passionate about playing the piano - cooking and entertaining are other favourite pastimes.

Family plays a crucial role in her life, with three adult children who continually provide inspiration. She also has two dogs that bring joy.

Louisa is committed to giving back to the community through charity work and volunteering and supports a local cancer charity “Cancer Help Preston”.
