lackpool-based Atlas branches out with new appointment
As 2020 begins, so does a new chapter for our Grounds Maintenance team.
We welcome our new Grounds Maintenance Manager, Ben Simpson, to the Operational Estates team.
Ben, originally from South Shore, whose previous experience saw him manage grounds maintenance, county-wide for Lancashire County Council, started on Monday 6th January and heads up our Grounds Maintenance team.
Building on the great work done by Ian Wilding, Ben will lead and further develop the service.
Ben Simpson, Grounds Maintenance Manager, said: “I’m very excited to have joined Atlas.
Over the coming weeks, I will be getting out and about to meet my team and the wider Atlas community.
I’m keen to boost the visibility of the team for our staff and clients alike and I’m currently creating a long-term strategy for developing the service.
Once this is in place, I’ll be looking to improve our clients’ grounds, as well as expanding the business by winning new work and recruiting local people from across our footprint.
Ultimately, I aim to generate additional revenue, grow and develop the team and reduce our use of sub-contractors.”
